A Beninese Witch Doctor Arrested In Egypt On Leaving The Stadium

A Beninese wizard was arrested in Egypt at the exit of the stadium by a group of very angry Moroccan supporters who accuse him of being responsible for Morocco’s failure in the 8th CAN final.

Angry fans claim that during the penalty shoot-out kick-off, the Beninese was spotted holding wizarding objects. According to a Moroccan on the spot, there is no doubt that the man was responsible for the failure of his national team.

the alleged wizard was arrested and roughed up on leaving the stadium at the end of the match before being quickly released after the intervention of a man in uniform. We don’t know if he was really a wizard or not, but he was brutalized and his belongings destroyed a few kilometers from the stadium.

Earlier this week, fake information have circulated on the web according to which the president of Benin would have sent 156 professional powerful-sorcerers to Egypt to help the national team not to lose a single match.

You would think that these wizards are really doing a wonderful job considering that the Beninese national team so far has not lost a single match in this competition. A team that has never reached the round of 16 is qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations.
