DESCRIPTION OF OFFERS

Vacancies:

Assistant to the Expert in communication and social mobilization;

Assistant to the Procurement Expert;

An accountant

Number of positions: One (01) per specialty

Place of employment: Niamey- NIGER

Structure: Niger Basin Authority (NBA) Intergovernmental Organization of nine (9) Member States (Benin, Burkina, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Chad).

For the Assistant to the Communication and Social Mobilization Expert:

degrees or levels

Basic university degree of at least (BAC+3) in communication, law, administration, sociology, community development or a similar profile;

Experience and job profile:

– Having at least 5 years of experience in the implementation of institutional and technical capacity projects;

-Proven experience in participatory diagnosis, community development, design

and the implementation of capacity building programs;

For the Assistant to the Procurement Expert:

degrees or levels

Basic training at least a BAC+(3) degree in engineering, architecture, acquisition, law, management, commerce or related field.

Experience and job profile:

Having at least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in procurement with proven knowledge and practical experience in the procurement of goods and works and the procurement of consultancy services under the financing conditions of the donors.

For the Accountant:

degrees or levels

Holder of a 2nd cycle university degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Economic Affairs (Bac + 2) or equivalent degree in financial management or accounting.

Experience and job profile:

– Have a professional experience of at least 5 years in an accounting or financial monitoring position within development projects.

– Have sufficient knowledge of the rules and procedures of donors;

Composition of the file:

Applications for the three (3) positions must include the following documents:

– A letter of application addressed to the Executive Secretary of the NBA;

– A cover letter;

– A recent and detailed curriculum vitae;

– A legalized copy of the birth certificate;

– A legalized copy of the nationality certificate or any other document proving nationality;

– A legalized copy of the titles, diplomas, and certificates of qualifications;

– A copy of the certificates or attestation of work or services;

– Two (2) passport photos;

– An extract from the criminal record dating from less than three (3) months;

– A certificate of permanent residence in Niger for nationals of NBA member countries;

– The names and addresses of three (3) reference persons.
