Created in 1979, Action contre la Faim is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its mission is to save lives by ending hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, especially during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. We are looking for the Department of Communication and Development:
An Internship Press Relations Assistant (M/F)
Paris 17th
Assignment : In the Communication Department of Action Against Hunger within the Press Relations Department made up of a team of 3 people, you provide support in the promotion of Action Against Hunger events with local and national media (print and audiovisual press, web).
In particular, you work on the following events:
- 40 years of Action Against Hunger (October 2019)
- The Challenge against Hunger in Nantes and Marseille (October 2019)
- Operation Une Part en Plus (November 2019)
- Operation Je Déj’ Je Donne (February 2020)
Your responsibilities revolve around 3 areas:
- You participate in the implementation of the press relations plan for these eventsby designing, writing and sending media tools (press releases or press kit, Q&A, etc.) or organizing press events (media briefings, conferences, press trips).
- You participate in media relationsin particular by ensuring media reminders or handling various press requests.
- You ensure analysis of media impact and business intelligence innovations in the sector.
Required profile : You are a student in Master 1 or 2 ideally in communication, political science, journalism or international relations. A first professional experience in the world of the media or the press would be an asset for this position.
You are recognized for your interpersonal and writing skills. You are fluent in written and oral English.
Mandatory condition : Have an internship agreement issued by a school under French law
Salary Conditions : Internship compensated up to the legal minimum hourly bonus (on the basis of 35 hours per week). Restaurant vouchers at €8 (60% covered by ACF). Coverage of 50% of public transport costs.
Position taking : September 16, 2019
Training period : 6 months
Special conditions : Prolonged sitting, oral expression, screen work, telephone contact.
