ACF is recruiting 01 Accounting and International Donor Management Officer

Taking into account the objectives of Action Contre la Faim, within a team of 12 people and under the supervision of the Deputy International Accounting Manager, your mission is to ensure the accounting and financial management of contractual resources (donors , network) of ACF within your scope, in compliance with established accounting and financial rules. More specifically, you are in charge of:

Ensure financial management and accounting translation of operations linked to contractual resources (donors, network)

  • Accounting and analytically imputing the donor payments received at headquarters in the Agresso ERP
  • Monitor the status of Lessor accounts in conjunction with regional finances and the services involved in monitoring Lessor contracts and carry out actions aimed at anticipating the accounting order(s) and closings within its scope
  • Ensure the monitoring and accounting of contracts of members of the ACF network (contracts signed by other headquarters for ACF FR)
  • Produce indicators on the accounting and financial situation of donor contracts

Contribute to the analysis and review of Donor accounts

  • When closing accounts, establish the consolidated accounting file for Lessor contracts and make regularization and inventory entries:
  • Review and lettering of accounts
  • Closing of lessor accounts and results
  • Depreciation, provisions
  • Financial revaluations (assets and liabilities)
  • Analysis of accounting balances and outstandings at closing(s) in conjunction with contract managers in order to determine depreciation or provisions and ensure monitoring of actions to be taken
  • Contribute to the development of inter-office reconciliations, in conjunction with the Network Accountant
  • Ensure the specific liquidation of contracts with the American Government (“De obligation” and/or “close out”)

Additional activities

On its perimeter:

  • Provide the justifications and statements required by the Association’s auditors and Statutory Auditors
  • Provide the financial elements necessary for the production of financial indicators
  • Provide punctual support to the accounting teams according to the needs of the service (support, training, back-up, etc.)
  • Produce, update and develop tools, procedures and operating methods

Required profile : With higher education (minimum bac +2 level) in management, finance and accounting, you have professional experience of at least two years in a position of customer portfolio manager, collection manager or customer accountant. Organized, rigorous, and diplomatic, you know how to listen and are able to adapt quickly. You enjoy and are motivated by teamwork. Financial knowledge of landlord rules is essential. Mastery of the English language is appreciated in order to communicate with English-speaking partners.

Status: Integrated Executive – Full-time permanent contract

Salary conditions: Between €34 and €41 thousand gross annually over 13 months, depending on experience. 21 days RTT / year, restaurant vouchers at €8 (60% covered by AcF), complementary health insurance (80% covered by AcF), 50% reimbursement by public transport in Paris and the Paris region.

Position taking : Mid-September 2019, 8-month replacement fixed-term contract
