In January, Julian Sands went missing while hiking alone on Mount Baldy, near Los Angeles. The weather conditions were extremely poor that day, and the challenging weather has been a major obstacle for the search teams. Over the past five months, more than eight ground and aerial expeditions, totaling over 500 hours of fruitless search efforts, have been conducted.

On Saturday, June 17th, a new attempt was made, involving over 80 people, two helicopters, and drones, in hopes of finding any clues regarding the whereabouts of the 65-year-old British actor, Julian, known for his roles in “A Room with a View” and “Arachnophobia.” Unfortunately, once again, these search efforts yielded no results.

“Despite the recent warmer weather, certain parts of the mountain remain inaccessible due to extreme alpine conditions,” stated the San Bernardino Sheriff, as reported by the Daily Mail. “Several areas consist of steep terrain and ravines, which still have over 3 meters of ice and snow.” New search operations will be undertaken.
