APID is recruiting one (01) Technical Assistant

The NGO Association for Development Initiatives (APID) is a non-governmental organization which intervenes in the fields of education, health, agriculture, water and sanitation, governance and citizenship. APID defends human rights and protects the rights and freedoms of all vulnerable groups.

As part of its activities, APID ONG is looking for a Technical Assistant in Resource Mobilization and Partnership Management who will be responsible for designing, writing and monitoring project proposals submitted to donors.

Missions and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Technical Assistant is responsible for:

Carry out feasibility studies, context analyzes and participatory diagnostics to identify funding needs and opportunities;
Write clear, coherent and relevant project proposals in compliance with donor standards and requirements;
Follow up on calls for projects and submission deadlines;
Ensure communication and coordination with internal and external partners involved in the projects;
Contribute to building the capacity of field teams in project writing.

Required profile

The Technical Assistant must meet the following profile:

BAC +5 in project management or equivalent;
Experience of at least three years in drafting projects on behalf of national or international NGOs;
Good knowledge of donors and financing procedures;
Excellent writing skills in French and English;
Mastery of computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Sense of initiative, organization and teamwork;
