Under the authority of the Coordinator of the Tourism and Business Development Project (PDTE), the Senior Project Manager assists the latter in the execution of the various tasks related to the management and coordination of the project, namely:
• Set up Project management tools (schedule, monitoring table, reporting, indicators, etc.) and ensure that they are regularly updated;
• Plan the various activities related to the various components of the Project, in relation with the focal points of the Executing Agencies and the various internal and external actors;
• Keeping the progress of activities up to date;
• Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the various activities of the Project;
• If necessary, provide support to the Project team.

Skills and Abilities Required
The Senior Project Manager will:

• Have a Master’s degree 2 (Bac + 5) or its equivalent, and have solid training in one of the following disciplines: engineering sciences, project management, management of infrastructure projects, etc. ;
• Have at least fifteen (15) years of proven professional experience, including five (05) in the management of similar and relevant infrastructure projects;
• Benefit from knowledge in the field of maritime engineering (the management and supervision of construction projects for maritime structures will be considered a plus);
• Have at least one experience of implementing a development project funded by a donor;
• Be able to integrate a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate leadership for the implementation of project activities;
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Have an excellent command of computer tools (Word, Excel; Powerpoint, Microsoft Project etc….;
• A good knowledge of financial tools is a plus.
DURATION OF THE MISSION

The successful candidate will be invited to sign a one-year renewable contract, taking into account their performance.
