On Monday, June 19, Le Journal du Dimanche revealed that Benoît Magimel discovered he had been burglarized on Saturday morning after being away for several days. The incident is believed to have occurred between June 9 and June 17 while the 49-year-old actor and his wife were absent.

According to our sources, Magimel, who resides in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, lost a total of approximately €150,000 worth of various items. The burglars reportedly entered the property through the garden and then climbed onto a table to access the house through a first-floor window.

The intruders proceeded to disable several surveillance cameras inside the residence before carrying out the burglary. Luxury bags belonging to Margot Pelletier, Benoît Magimel’s wife, were stolen, along with around ten high-value watches. However, the contents of the couple’s safe remained untouched as the thieves were unsuccessful in their attempts to force it open.

The Brigade de répression du banditisme (BRB) of the judicial police in Paris has opened an investigation to apprehend the culprits. Unfortunately, Magimel is not the only victim of burglary. Like many other French citizens, TV host and Quelle époque! contributor Christophe Dechavanne’s home was also targeted. On June 15, Dechavanne tweeted about being burglarized for the second time in his life.

In April, the apartment of singer Christine and the Queens, located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, was burglarized while she was performing at the Coachella festival in California. The artist, now known as Redcar, reportedly lost jewelry worth a total of €30,000, along with several computers containing unreleased songs.
