King Charles III Faces Horse Trouble During First Trooping the Colour Ceremony

The first Trooping the Colour ceremony of King Charles III took place on Saturday, June 17, in the United Kingdom. The event brought together all the important members of the British royal family, except for Prince Andrew and Prince Harry.

On this occasion, Kate Middleton dressed in green and coordinated her hairstyle with that of her daughter, Princess Charlotte, while her youngest, Prince Louis, entertained the spectators with his playful antics. However, during the ceremony, the monarch encountered a small mishap that could have disrupted the event.

As reported by Voici, King Charles III, known for his impatience, was irritated by his horse named Noble. It’s worth noting that he arrived on this horse, alongside his eldest son, Crown Prince William, his sister, Princess Anne, and his brother, Prince Edward. Unlike his companions, the sovereign had trouble calming his horse.

Royal expert Judi James commented on the situation, explaining that “Trooping the Colour could have been slightly spoiled by the rather spirited horse that Charles seemed to be struggling with.” While his entourage marched gracefully with perfect posture, the monarch had to hold onto the reins with both hands to prevent the horse from becoming unruly and disrupting the ceremony.
