Kleiton Lima is one of Brazil’s most famous personalities with a very long coaching career. However, the former coach of the Seleção during the 2011 Women’s World Cup has decided to resign. This decision is not a surprise since the latter is the subject of an investigation following complaints from players for moral and sexual harassment.
Santos women’s team coach Kleiton Lima has resigned following allegations against him. Some players have also put forward evidence of harassment on the part of the 49-year-old coach, particularly during training. “After almost thirty years of an impeccable career, I have never had any complaints for this reason. I do not accept that this artifice is used to remove me from my functions”, he defends himself. The club announced that it had accepted the resignation of its current manager.
