COGELEC ENERGY is recruiting a Work Execution ManagerPosition based in Dakar with travel to all regions of Senegal

Your mission at COGELEC ENERGY
Reporting directly to the Chairman of cogelec energy SAS, the person in charge of carrying out the work is responsible for ensuring the proper coordination of all the work, ensuring the quality of the work, compliance with the budget, margin protection and meeting deadlines.

Assisted by site managers, your main activities will be:

Manage projects: planning, monitoring, management of internal procedures, management of teams and external service providers
Execute the implementation plan
Implement the quality control, budget and customer deliveries plan
Implement production plans: deployment and monitoring of resources, investments, overheads and all other resources necessary to achieve production commitments, correct discrepancies and take the necessary measures to achieve them with an obligation of results: on time & we budget
Participate in the preparation of technical, commercial and financial offers and lead customer, supplier and internal meetings to ensure the proper execution of contracts
Coordinate with the finance function the liquidity necessary for the execution of the work
Approve site expenditures in line with the budget and find solutions to execution problems that could lead to budget overruns or delays in delivery times

Carry out planned or unannounced site visits (in Dakar and travel to all regions of Senegal)
Check scores for outsourced workers
Prepare execution reports at site level
strategic management

Ensure ongoing training of internal teams
Improve internal procedures and manage their implementation
Set up internal management software
Participate in and lead the reflection on additional products and services to offer to customers

Required profile
F/M, BAC+5 type engineering diploma in electrical or electromechanical engineering, or civil/mechanical engineering with proven experience in a construction trade in general
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical position with direct experience in the construction trades (design of electrical, mechanical or civil engineering plans, industrial wiring, design and wiring of electrical cabinets, installation of networks high, medium or low voltage, construction of substations, assembly of pylons etc.).

Your multidisciplinary skills allow you to tackle electrical and/or special civil engineering worksites with ease.

In addition, you have:
Proven experience in managing construction sites
Skills in safety management (risk identification, assessment, control plan, change management)
Competence in Quality / Safety / Security / Environment aspects linked to construction sites
Confirmed managerial skills (supervision, team motivation)

Flawless understanding of the context in which we operate: COGELEC ENERGY is a small company operating in Senegal with a sub-regional vocation

Excellent capacity for analysis, anticipation and adaptation

Sense of organization and method
Writing skills
Good knowledge of English AND French
Type of contract: Fixed-term contract which may lead to a permanent contract for this key position in the company.
