On June 1, 2023, during a graduation ceremony at the US Air Force Academy, President Joe Biden stumbled. Fortunately, he was not injured and was able to continue the ceremony with the assistance of the Secret Service members who helped him.
For an hour and a half, he shook hands with each attending cadet to present them with their diplomas. Afterward, without any assistance, he made his way to his seat before lightly jogging to his car after the conclusion of the event.

Later in the evening at the White House, in front of the journalists present that day, the American President made a joke: “I stumbled!” Ben LaBolt, the government’s director of communications, reassured everyone that the President was fine, saying, “There was only a bag filled with sand on stage when our dear President fell.”
Donald Trump’s Reaction
Donald Trump, who was running against Joe Biden for the future presidential elections (in 2024), immediately reacted, stating that this incident was incredible, saying, “I hope he didn’t get hurt.” He also added some wise advice about being cautious to avoid such accidents.
These remarks sparked various comments in the media across the United States.
