While we believed that the negotiations had not been conclusive concerning the departure of Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid, now the leaders of Real Madrid are coming back to the charge.
According to the Spanish press, Florentino Pérez, the president of Real Madrid would still be interested in the young world champion with the France team. The leaders of the merengue club also want the world champion not to extend his contract with Paris Saint Germain.
It is therefore clear that the soap opera Mbappé is once again occupying the front page of the Spanish press after having been eclipsed by that of Neymar. This does not mean that the future of the young world champion is assured in the long term with Real Madrid.
If it is true that Kylian Mbappé will not leave PSG this season except for a last minute surprise, the fact remains that the Frenchman always seems to be present in the minds of Real Madrid decision-makers. However, Florentino Pérez, far from being in a hurry, seems rather to have set his conditions to make the arrival of the French striker effective.
Indeed, according to the Spanish press, the leaders of the Casa Blanca would like to avoid an extension of Kylian Mbappé’s contract. The young striker is tied to PSG until June 2022, which will put Los Blancos in a strong position when it comes to negotiations next summer. But in the event that Kylian Mbappé agrees to extend, it is the Parisians who will have a hand in this file and will be able to revise the price of his transfer upwards.
