Based at the Forum Réfugiés-Cosi health center in Villeurbanne, you work in conjunction with a team made up of a head of department, administrative staff (reception/secretarial), general practitioners, psychologists, a physiotherapist, an art therapist and interpreters (external service providers).

Your mission is to participate in the multidisciplinary care of the public received at the health center.

You are responsible for defining, in conjunction with the team, the most suitable course of care for each user, and for helping to facilitate coordination with the center’s partners (hospital centers and medical structures, various accompanying persons within the framework of procedures for protection and access to rights related to asylum and integration of the public).

You provide individual and family assessment consultations, with an interpreter if necessary, make referrals to other health professionals if necessary.

You may be required to write certificates as part of patient immigration procedures (asylum application, regularizations, vulnerability alerts).

You are likely, by delegation of the head of department, to represent the health center with the organizations concerned by its mandate.

Job objectives:

– Ensure the initial or additional assessment (in the event of complex situations: suspicion of mental pathologies, suspicion of deficits, critical situations, etc.) of the public in the health centre.

– Recommend a management strategy for adult patients and minors over 6 years old (accompanied and/or isolated), in conjunction with other caregivers.

– Provide technical reference for the service in its area of ​​expertise, and more broadly advise the association on the management of the mental health of exiled people.

– Participate in promoting the activity (editorial contributions-reports, vignettes-articles, participation in events, etc.).
