France Terre d’Asile is recruiting 01 reception and domiciliation agent / Rouen

An association governed by the 1901 law, founded in December 1970, France Terre d’Asile promotes human rights and takes care of people in need of protection: asylum seekers, refugees, unaccompanied foreign minors. Leading association in the asylum sector with just over 1,000 employees, it is present in 10 regions and 50 cities, through the management of around a hundred structures, establishments, systems and platforms, which support more than 12,000 people every day in France.

Duties:

Within the first reception structure for asylum seekers of France Terre d’Asile de Rouen, you ensure:

• the individual reception of applicants within the framework of social services: reception, information and guidance for the effectiveness of rights
• the delivery of mail to applicants on dedicated time slots
• the collection of the civil status of asylum seekers in order to set an appointment at the prefecture for newcomers
• the domiciliation of asylum seekers as well as the provision of information on the procedure during collective sessions

SKILLS : Knowledge of the asylum seeker’s journey, of the social sector, of emergency aid systems. Mastery of French and imperative Arabic, another highly appreciated language. Ability to work in an emergency context.
