Lagos State Police in Nigeria have arrested a man who goes by the name of Bidemi, for stabbing to death a prostitute he took to his house at Corporation Estate, Mile 2, Lagos State.

According to reports, Bidemi, who lives alone, returned home with the prostitute on Monday evening around 11 p.m. His neighbors saw them enter his home and moments later they heard the young woman crying out for help.

Neighbors alerted security to the call for help coming from her apartment. Shortly after, Bidemi came out and was about to leave the property when security guards asked him where the woman he had entered with earlier was and he told them she was at his house. They informed her that they had heard her cry out for help and that they would like to see her. Bidemi initially hesitated, saying that everything was fine between them.

Finding that the security guards and his neighbors did not believe his explanations, Bidemi was forced to take them to his home, where they found the lady in a pool of blood with her vagina cut out. After investigation, Bidemi confessed to having cut off his private part, because he needed it for ritual reasons.

He was then handed over to the men at Amuwo Odofin police station.
