The son of the American President, Hunter Biden, has admitted his guilt in two separate federal cases. In the first case, he has pleaded guilty to federal income tax fraud, while in the second case, he is accused of violating firearms legislation. Specifically, in 2018, during his time as a recovering addict, he allegedly acquired a firearm illegally.
At 53 years old, Hunter Biden has faced addiction problems, including crack cocaine and alcohol, which he openly discusses in his recently published book last spring.

Despite the personal challenges faced by his youngest son, who transitioned from being a lawyer to an artist and businessman, President Joe Biden has consistently shown public support for him, even expressing pride during the electoral debate with Donald Trump prior to the American presidential elections.
Former President Donald Trump, on the other hand, currently facing multiple separate legal investigations, accuses Hunter Biden of receiving preferential treatment from the judicial authorities, although this is refuted by prosecutor David Weiss, who is in charge of the case.
