The European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD), an international solidarity organization created in 1988, implements economic and human development projects in some fifteen countries, in partnership with local institutions. More than 30 years in the fields of education, vocational training and access to employment for young people have enabled the IECD to develop real know-how. Since 2006, the IECD has also been involved in the fight against sickle cell disease, a fight close to its heart.

The HR team is currently made up of a Human Resources director, a recruitment and HR project manager, an administrative management officer and an HR work-study trainee.

In a context of strong growth in activities, the challenges of recruitment, GPEC and development of people are priorities to drive the development of the organization and the loyalty of employees.

To support this growth, the HR division is strengthening and recruiting a human resources manager who will work in close collaboration with the HR team and head office and field operations.

YOUR MISSION

  1. Recruitment management (50%)

Within a defined scope of job levels and geographic areas and in close collaboration with head office and field operations:

  • Anticipates and defines recruitment needs
  • Ensures the entire recruitment and integration process
  • Updates the database and pool of target candidates
  • Contributes to the recruitment strategy (employer brand, sourcing, pool)
  • Ensures quarterly monitoring, reporting and analysis of HR recruitment indicators
  1. Management of the GPEC
  • Monitoring and development of employees

Within a defined scope of job levels and geographical areas:

  • Contributes to the support, development and internal mobility of employees (individual follow-up, annual interviews, end-of-mission report, etc.)
  • Supports managers in the HR management of their employees (recruitment, mobility, training, etc.)
  • Ensures the follow-up and the evolutions of the contractual conditions
  • Ensures a good social climate, ensures the feedback and identification of HR risks to the HRD
  • Management of employee journeys
  • Manages and coordinates the “career management” committee with the head of recruitment and HR missions and the COMEX
  • Training and integration
  • Defines a training and integration policy adapted to head office and field teams by job level
  • Develops an annual training plan, implements it (budget, request for support, organization and logistics, evaluation, etc.). Proposes a continuous improvement approach
  • Is the training referent internally and externally
  • Classification of jobs
  • Develops job references, skill matrices for field and head office positions
  • Adapts and harmonizes internal documents (job description, annual interview, etc.) related to job classification
  • Adapts the job level grid according to the evolution of the organization and the professions
  1. Management of internal communication
  • Is the guarantor of internal communication on HR topics and headquarters organization
  • Coordinate monthly/quarterly thematic meetings
  • Coordinates the organization of the team day and other internal events
  1. Contribution to the development of the HR department
  • Adapts and develops the code of conduct in line with the IECD Charter and the HR Charter
  • Contributes to the formalization of the global HR policy
  • Contributes to the efficiency and professionalism of the HR department (organization, rigour, quality, tools)
  • Accompanies the HRD in the improvement of skills and the development of the HR team
  • Contributes to uniting the HR team around the values ​​and identity of the IECD:
    • Benevolent and respectful behavior towards all employees (personal perspective)
    • At the service of the organization, its development and all employees at headquarters and in the field (sense of service)
    • Teamwork with COMEX and CODIR

YOUR PROFILE

Training: Higher education (ESC, IEP, psychology, etc.), an HR specialty and social law would be appreciated.

Experience : at least 8 years of corporate experience in an equivalent HR position. Experience in recruitment, GPEC and training is a must. Experience in an international environment and in the field of solidarity would be a plus.

  • Ability to interact with operational interlocutors at different levels and in a multicultural context
  • Very good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a challenging and results oriented environment
  • Mastery of communication and recruitment tools (LinkedIn and other social networks)
  • Fluency in oral/written English

POSITION CONDITIONS

CONTRACT : Permanent contract, with a trial period of 4 months

Category : Frame

Under the responsibility of :

  • The Director of Human Resources, based in Paris

Close collaboration with:

  • The HR team based in Paris
  • General Management and COMEX based in Paris and in the field
  • Paris-based program coordination teams
  • Field-based operational teams
  • Support function teams based in the field and in Paris

Job dates: as soon as possible

Location : Paris, 15thpossible field missions

Contract conditions:

  • Working time: Individual agreement for an annual package in days, giving the right to 15 days of JRFA in accordance with the IECD working time agreement of October 20, 2017.
  • Remuneration according to profile
  • 100% coverage of mutual insurance and provident insurance
  • Reimbursement of 50% of the weekly or monthly Navigo pass, on presentation of proof
  • Contribution to catering costs in the company restaurant up to 4.60 euros per meal
  • Taking leave according to the working time agreement says the agreement of October 20, 2017
