Country Office in Nigeria and its presence across the Lake Chad Basin
Since its registration in Nigeria in 2016, INSO has developed a strong regional approach in supporting NGOs working on the Lake Chad Basin crisis across all neighboring countries. The coordination office, based in Abuja, supervises two operational offices in Maiduguri (Nigeria), Maroua (Cameroon) and a third operational office in Diffa (Niger) in the opening phase.
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as INSO Mobile Safety Advisor (MSA) based in Maiduguri, Nigeria.
The Mobile Safety Advisor for Nigeria will need to have a strong humanitarian and security background and experience in similar risk context, a clear understanding of humanitarian security principles, conflict analysis and a flexible and open personality.
He/She will be able to interpret, articulate and publish best information and principled expert advice to a broad community of humanitarian actors in the region.
