Technical Inspector Job Description
The technical inspector will contribute, under the authority of the Inspector of Administrative and Financial Affairs, to the good governance of the sector.
As such, it is responsible for:
To ensure the application of presidential and primatorial directives resulting from the reports of the General State Inspectorate and other control bodies;
To assist the Minister in the control of the management of the personnel, the material and the credits of the central, regional and departmental services of the ministry and the public establishments under supervision;
To carry out any mission of verification and control entrusted to it by the Minister;
To ensure the follow-up of the application of the directives resulting from the internal reports;
To control all administrative, financial and accounting acts taken within the directorates, services and other structures under the supervision of the ministry;
Present reports on the results of investigations carried out during inspection missions;
To formulate recommendations for a better functioning of the departments, services and other administrations concerned.
Required profile
The candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:
Be from hierarchy A or assimilated;
Have a good knowledge of the political orientations concerning the Water or Sanitation sectors;
Have an experience of at least five (05) years in administrative, financial or technical management;
Have skills in administrative writing, development of control and monitoring tools, verification techniques and IT;
Hold a master’s degree or a master’s degree including a module in one of the following fields: public finance, hydraulics, hydrogeology, civil engineering, electromechanics, public procurement, financial management, audit, accounting, law, hydrology, sanitation, geology, rural engineering, local authority management or any other module deemed relevant by the application evaluation committee;
be of good character.
Selection process
The selection process takes place in two phases:
a pre-selection phase on file;
a selection phase by interview with the commission.

a cover letter ;
a curriculum vitae and proof of the information it contains;
a certificate of the services performed;
an act of appointment or integration into hierarchy A;
a certified photocopy of diplomas;
a certificate of good conduct and morals
