Ivorian sprinter Murielle Ahouré won the world champion title in the women’s 100 meters at the Boston Games.
Aged 31, Murielle Ahouré is a sprint specialist. She was born in Abidjan, and she left there at the age of 3 and lived in France for around ten years before returning to Ivory Coast. She returned to the United States at the age of 14 where she began athletics.
The Boston Games is an athletics and street meeting competition held each year in Boston, Massachusetts (United States).
Murielle Ahouré has several awards to her credit, including that of 60m world champion (2018) and four-time world vice-champion in the 60m, 100m and 200m events.
