Music Icon Quincy Jones Hospitalized Due to Food Reaction

Quincy Jones, 90 years old, was rushed to the hospital over the weekend after experiencing a bad reaction to food he consumed. Emergency services were called to the residence of the “We Are the World” producer on Saturday, June 17th, in the afternoon.

His agent stated the following day to TMZ that he never lost consciousness and was in “good spirits” when doctors gave him the green light to leave the hospital. Hopefully, we will have the pleasure of seeing him at the upcoming Montreux Jazz Festival starting from June 30th, a place he holds dear.

Quincy Jones has had to visit hospitals on multiple occasions. He previously suffered a cerebral aneurysm in 1974, which required two surgeries and left him with six steel pins in his head. He openly discussed this experience in his 2018 documentary “Quincy.”

In 2015, he was also hospitalized for chest pains and shortness of breath. Fortunately, this time, it was more of a scare than a serious condition.
