your role

As a functional analyst, you will be the intermediary between the specificity of the business and the technique.

Your main role is to analyze the needs of users in order to find the solutions best suited to their expectations and to monitor the progress of development.

In collaboration with the technical team, you propose functional solutions that are relevant and consistent with the target architecture and existing systems.

You contribute in the different phases of the project including the collection, analysis and formalization of needs in order to translate them to the development team.

You then participate in the management of the work of the production team and ensure the follow-up of developments: progress, creation of tests, verification of the compliance of the application with the objectives set and the expected results.

Main activities

Functional analysis

Collect customer needs
Analyze and define the functional solutions to be implemented, expose the evolutions and the risks on the existing system.
Modeling and design of the database in collaboration with the technical team
Model complex use cases
Write detailed functional specifications
Present the conceptual choices and validate them with the technical team.

Software quality

Contribute to the development of the test strategy
Develop test plans and scenarios
Valuing and then executing the test scenarios
Organize and manage test campaigns
Reporting on test progress
Track anomalies

Transverse

Participate in the different phases of the Scrum methodology (feeding the product backlog, sprint planning, presentation of stories to the development team, sprint planning, sprint review, etc.)
Provide support and assistance to internal and customer teams
Participate in the production phase of the project
Assist users in training
Assist the project manager (project monitoring, implementation of indicators, reporting, etc.)

your profile

Training:

IT engineer
Bachelor’s, master’s or master’s degree in computer science, management information technology

Specific skills required:

Design and development methods, standards and tools
Agility
Project management techniques
Organization techniques
Knowledge of one or more functional universes
Knowledge of conceptual data and processing models
Methods for driving and following the functional recipes of an application

Optional technical skills:

Proficiency in programming concepts (object-oriented programming and software engineering)
