The role
The Regional Business Development Manager, WAF, will lead the development of new businesses in support of all countries in the region; create, identify and access new financing opportunities; maintain a consistent level of donor relations and ensure the development of high quality proposals in different country contexts. They will actively seek to increase the income of the confederation through multi-country funding opportunities and consortium partnerships with civil society organizations, but also with the private sector (consultancy firms specializing in development) or international organizations (such as United Nations organizations, etc.).

What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced resource mobilization specialist who can demonstrate success working with bilateral and multilateral donors for an international agency like Oxfam. You will have strong networking, representation and negotiation skills, and be an effective communicator, in English and French, able to articulate strategic and policy issues through effective oral and written briefs. You will be able to work effectively within multicultural and multifunctional teams. You will master governmental, political and technical decision-making processes, including budget processes, allocations, protocols and communications.
