Pastor Died After Trying To Break Jesus Record

The 44-year-old South African pastor in an attempt to break Jesus Christ’s record of fasting for 40 days left home for the bush on June 17. He deprived himself of food and water for 30 days until death, reports Buzzsouthafrica.com.

His death came as a shock to his family, church members and the community at large. The pastor was widely known as, “a very spiritual person with a faith that could move mountains”.

“He was a very spiritual man. It’s unfortunate that he died this way. After a month we got the sad news of his death,” a close relative lamented.

His body was discovered by an unknown person while he was alone in the desert. The stranger then alerted the police who informed his family and his congregation.
