Recruitment of one (01) Deputy Director

Direct collaborator of the Director, and in permanent relation with the team (+40 employees), you will intervene in support of his functions in the management of the operation and the development of the association. Your main tasks will be:

1) Support for the coordination of the action program

– Ensure overall management and monitoring of the action program (implementation and monitoring of financing agreements and technical and financial reports, preparation of provisional programs and activity reports, annual report)

– Promote cross-cutting coordination of actions and projects between thematic/geographical programs

2) Support for strategy development

– Support the Committee’s reflection and multi-year strategic programming with its objectives and prospects for action

– Support the definition, coordination and implementation of the fundraising strategy

3) Support for administrative, financial and human resources management

– Support the structuring of procedures and tools to improve financial management and human resources management

– Ensure compliance and implementation of administrative and financial obligations (declarations, approval, financing rules, ECLAT collective agreement, collective agreements, safety at work, etc.) and compliance with the procedures put in place

– Ensure overall management and monitoring of the annual budget

– Support the establishment of the provisional budget and the annual financial statement

– Support personnel management and participate in dialogue with the CSE

– Supervise logistics management (premises, insurance, service providers, equipment, works, etc.)

4) Support for the animation of the team, the network and the governance bodies

– Strengthen team dynamics and cohesion (management of team meetings and management meetings, internal communication of information and decisions, consultations and exchanges, collective preparation of events and in particular the French Nature Congress and the IUCN Conservation World

– Support the animation of governance bodies (General Assembly, Board of Directors, Bureau)

– Supervise the management of relations with members (memberships, calls for subscriptions, etc.)

Line manager and supervisor

He will work under the responsibility and in direct collaboration with the Director of the French Committee of IUCN. He will work in close contact with the Program Managers (6 employees) and the Administrative and Financial Manager, and interact with the entire team.

Experiences / Training

Required profile

– 3rd cycle training in management/management of organizations (IEP, business school, university) with a strong interest in environmental issues

– At least 5 years of professional experience with equivalent responsibilities, preferably within an association

– Skills in strategy, project management, administrative and financial management, human resources management and fundraising

– Very good organizational and activity planning skills

– Very good interpersonal and animation skills

– Strength of proposals and initiatives, in particular on methods, procedures and management tools

– Good knowledge of office software and business software

Salary

Job conditions

Status: Employee, executive status, permanent contract (38 hours per week)

Location: position based at the headquarters of the French Committee of the IUCN, 259-261 rue de Paris, 93100 Montreuil, with the possibility of teleworking according to the rules in force

Remuneration: 44 to 47 K€ gross per year depending on experience and collective agreement for ECLAT animation
