You possess :

A PhD in the field of global health with 8 years of relevant experience or a postgraduate degree (Masters) in the field of global health with 10 years of relevant experience.

Significant and relevant experience managing the implementation, funding, or support of global health research in low- and middle-income countries.

Fluency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking).

Recent experience in leading research project initiatives in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in the African context.

A thorough understanding of global health program and project development processes, including direct experience with competitive calls for proposals.

Demonstrated knowledge of West and Central African regional perspectives and actors who are central to ongoing initiatives in global health.

This position requires occasional international travel.

At the end of this process, the Center can build a pipeline of pre-qualified candidates for future permanent or fixed-term positions, requiring the same skills in global health.
