A recognized association of public utility, Santé Sud has been working since 1984 in the service of health and social development in developing countries, always in the same logic: “act without replacing”. The NGO’s priority is to defend the right to effective access to healthcare for the most vulnerable people by training local professionals. The NGO specializes in 4 areas: the optimization of existing health systems, the medicalization of rural areas, the reduction of the marginalization of vulnerable people and development education. Santé Sud operates in 11 countries, in West Africa, North Africa, Madagascar and Mongolia. Santé Sud is an association of GROUPE SOS Action Internationale.

ASSIGNMENT

You will assist the director and the partnership manager in the search for sources of funding for the association’s projects:

• Foundation prospecting
• Active monitoring of public and private funding opportunities (companies, foundations, etc.)
• Support for the drafting of funding/co-funding requests
• Update of monitoring tools and partnership database

PROFILE

• Training: the ideal candidate will have followed a university course in the field of international solidarity, project management, political science.

• Desired skills:

• Good writing skills, written and oral fluency;
• Mastery of program management and fundraising tools
• Analytical and synthetic skills;

• • Interest in international solidarity, knowledge of associations and development aid;
  • Good command of English / other languages ​​would be a plus.
• You also have the behavioral qualities/skills: creativity, analytical skills, sense of teamwork, autonomy, versatility, responsiveness; interest in international solidarity. Knowledge of associations and development aid in the international solidarity sector would be an asset.

TERMS

• Status: Civic Service Volunteer / Under 26
• Remuneration: VSC allowance €580.55 + 50% of public transport costs + restaurant voucher + possible increase based on social criteria.
• Working time: 35h / week

• Mission dates: as soon as possible for a period of 7 months.
