Assane, the gentleman burglar played by Omar Sy, has established himself as one of Netflix’s favorite characters. Indeed, the adventures of Lupin fascinate millions of viewers around the world and the French series is undoubtedly one of the most popular. It currently has two seasons and a third part should be released soon. Moreover, the recent trailer released by Netflix comes to confirm the release date of October 5, 2023.

Netflix is already preparing viewers for Lupin’s return. The gentleman burglar will indeed make his comeback in a third season after announcing to withdraw at the end of the previous chapter. As a reminder, Assane had finally succeeded in clearing the name of his father and at the same time unmasked Hubert Pellegrini. The latter was also trapped in a sleight of hand and finally confessed all his machinations. Only, Assane is still wrongly suspected for certain crimes. A reason why the fervent follower of Arsène Lupine decided to take off at the end of season 2.

The story should therefore continue chronologically if we refer to the synopsis published by Netflix. “Now in hiding, Assane must learn to live away from his wife and son. Faced with the suffering they are enduring through his fault, Assane can no longer stand it and decides to return to Paris to make them a somewhat crazy proposal: to leave France and start another life elsewhere. But the ghosts of the past are never far away and an unexpected return will upset his whole plan.

Spectators are then preparing to see Assane again on October 5 in sleight of hand tricks of which he alone has the secret. A new, energized adventure is also in the offing, but probably without the Pellegrini at the center.
