Seizure Makes Over 750 Kilos Of Cocaine

It is not 750 kilos, but rather 798 kilograms of cocaine that customs seized on the night of Saturday to Sunday at the Autonomous Port of Dakar. This is what the customs informs.

Indeed, the drug was discovered on 15 vehicles in a batch of dozens of new Renaults. These are the same types of vehicles that were used as a cache for the 238 kg of cocaine seized on June 26. The catch was made in the presence of the director of the Ocrtis.

Customs emphasizes that the control, verification and investigation work is continuing and that it is conducting the investigation “with serenity, professionalism and with all the rigor required in cases like this”.

“Senegalese Customs would like to point out that the fight against drug trafficking is a fight for peace, stability and the economic and social development of the country, which requires the collaboration and support of all Senegalese for the defense and security forces. so that they can face this planetary scourge”, indicates the customs in a press release sent to Seneweb.
