She Overcomes Her Disability To Teach Her Students

Despite being physically disabled, a teacher has become an inspiration after a photo of her holding chalk with her lips to write on a board went viral on social media.

Madame Enyonam, a teacher at the Adoagyiri R/C school in Kasoa, is proof that a handicap is not a disability. A recent photo of the teacher with a felt-tip pen in her mouth, writing on a board, surfaced on social media.

Although she has no arms to write on a board while she teaches, Ms. Enyonam holds the end of a marker with her mouth to write.

The young woman managed to overcome her handicap to transfer knowledge to her students.

The powerful message that the teacher conveys goes beyond the classroom. She also teaches her students how to become leaders, get out of their comfort zone and overcome life’s difficulties to succeed.
