For almost thirty years, Jony Ive has accompanied all of Apple’s “revolutions”. The famous British designer has decided to leave the Apple brand to found his own design studio. Steve Jobs’ “spiritual partner” Sir Jonathan Ive, Britain’s tech guru of two decades, helped Apple become the world’s most valuable company.
Jonathan, designer of the iMac, iPod and iPhone, will leave the company later this year to found a creative company, LoveFrom, whose first client would be Apple. “It seems like a natural, sweet time to make that change,” he said.
“Even though I won’t be an Apple employee, I will still be very involved. I look forward to many years to come,” he added.

The departure of the world’s most famous industrial designer and custodian of all of Apple’s aesthetics, from its hardware and software to its physical architecture, will shock its investors and customers, many who consider Sir Jonathan the one of its most crucial assets.
Apple boss Tim Cook said his “role in reviving Apple cannot be overstated”, referring to an expanded group of in-house designers who are “the strongest they have ever been”.
Sir Jonathan, who was knighted by the Queen in 2012, has ensured the continuity of Apple’s strategic vision since the death of co-founder Steve Jobs in 2011 and is seen by some company watchers as more important than Tim Cook. for its pipeline of future innovations.
