Tanker Truck Accident in Grangettes-près-Romont: 2000 Liters of Whey Spill, No Pollution Detected



On Monday morning, a tanker truck veered off the road and ended up on its side in a field on Ferlens Road in Grangettes-près-Romont (FR). The truck was carrying approximately 2000 liters of whey, which spilled into the field. Fortunately, no pollution was observed as a result.

Authorities were alerted at 8:20 am and dispatched a police patrol, an ambulance, as well as firefighters from Orsonnens and Romont to the scene. The 19-year-old driver was traveling from Massonens towards Grangettes. An investigation has been launched to determine how the vehicle ended up down the embankment.
