The 4D Association recruits 01 Coordinator

Since 2014, 4D has been working for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from institutions to citizens by developing, collecting and disseminating tools aimed at encouraging collective actions for transformative transitions that meet the challenges.

The challenge is to bring out co-responsible projects, in which associations, citizens, communities, companies develop new capacities to act, report on their trajectory, promote the transferability of practices… More information: www.association4d.org

This medium-term objective translates into new developments. The 4D association is creating a coordinator position to assist the general delegate. At the heart of the missions of this position, the objective of the recruited person will be to put in place an ambitious strategy of influence, aimed at creating a favorable context for the SDGs. This position is key for the positioning and development of the organization.

– Animation of a network of associations committed to the 2030 Agenda

– Identify and mobilize partners for the SDGs in drafting advocacy, carrying out training workshops for trainers (associative actors, popular education, volunteers, etc.)

– Ensure communication and access to knowledge and methods around the SDGs to as many people as possible: feed the blog, social networks, the newsletter, develop editorial partnerships, consolidate the database

– Explore new opportunities for influence and build a network of alliances and operational partners

• Mobilization of citizens and media

– Be the referent of the European program in which 4D is engaged to coordinate animation campaigns, webinars and awareness tools at the national level

– Develop a decryption of the SDGs, produce analytical notes and actively participate in the debate, in a narrative for 2030

– Carry out monitoring and research work on themes related to social and environmental inequalities, climate and sustainable agriculture

– Intervene in workshops, conferences… to transmit this knowledge.

• Coordination of community life

– Support the reflection on the new governance of the association, supervise its implementation and follow-up (with directors and members)

– Develop associative life (recruitment of individual and community members, facilitation of discussion times) in particular working groups and training of volunteers in mobilization tools for the SDGs;

– Ensure the preparation of meetings of the association’s bodies (boards of directors, general assemblies, office meetings), the implementation and monitoring of decisions;

– Acting, in conjunction with the general delegate and the members of the association, in the search for partners and resources (search for new patrons, response to calls for tenders, etc.);

– Ensure the rigor of the association’s administrative and associative management processes;

– Supervision of trainees

Socio-professional knowledge

– Experience of at least 5 years in a position of project management, network animation

– Ability to build relationships within an ecosystem, to clear opportunities, to build one’s own roadmap,

– Ability to transmit, animate

– Knowledge of the 2030 Agenda and more particularly of the themes climate, city, food, inequalities, sustainable consumption and production, just transition

– Knowledge of territorial implementations of sustainable development (local authorities)

– Approach to sociology approaches and support for change

General knowledge

– Institutional and general public information and communication methods

– Database management

– Project monitoring: administrative monitoring of activities, budgetary and financial monitoring

– Managerial skills: the development of a team around this position will be one of the challenges at the end of 2019

– Relational and organizational qualities, autonomy are assets

– Excellent oral and written level of English, another language is a plus

– The position is based at the headquarters of 4D – Paris Gare de l’est and is to be filled from September

– CDI

– Contract of 37 hours and 12 days of RTT

– Gross annual salary: 32-36 K€, depending on experience internal salary grid with minimum experience of 5 years

– Lunch vouchers, culture vouchers, profit-sharing agreement, mutual insurance and transport allowance

– Collective agreement for animation

– Occasional trips to France and exceptionally to Europe to be expected
