Tasks

Under the authority of the head of delegation of the CRF (French Red Cross) in the DRC, the support coordinator is responsible for:

  • Supervise and supervise the work of the administrative / financial and logistical services of the mission
  • Ensure the implementation of administrative and financial management in accordance with the requirements of the FIU and its donors
  • Ensure the implementation of logistics management in accordance with the requirements of the FIU and its donors
  • Support and strengthen the capacities of the administrative / financial and logistical teams made available to the CRF by the CRRDC.
  • Propose solutions for improving processes and optimizing the support management of the mission in conjunction with the head. of delegation
  • Ensure the quality of the various reporting tools and the information transmitted, and the promptness of their rendering
  • Ensure adequate communication with the various mission stakeholders in the management of support services (donors, headquarters, base, capital, RC Movement, etc.)
  • In close collaboration with the head of delegation, ensure the security of personnel and property of the FIU
  • The support coordinator is based in Kinshasa and is required, as part of his duties, to travel regularly in the province of Kwango (at least 1 week per month)

Hierarchical links: The support coordinator works under the responsibility of the head of delegation of the French Red Cross in the DRC, based in Kinshasa. He/she has the direct hierarchical responsibility of the national administrator and the national logistician based in Kinshasa.

Functional links: The support coordinator works in close collaboration with the health coordinator based in Kinshasa, the Kenge base manager, the base logistician, the base administrator as well as the representatives of the logistics and management control units of the international relations and operations department (DROI) of the CRF.

Candidate’s experience / training The profile of the candidate

  • Training in international solidarity management or administrative and financial management or logistics management
  • Significant experience in capacity building and team management in international solidarity projects, knowledge of the donor system
  • Significant experience in the support management of an international solidarity mission or project
  • Ability to impart knowledge and skills
  • Ability to design a training course and develop tools
  • Organizational and team management skills
  • Knowledge of Global Fund procedures: a plus
  • Professional experience in Central Africa: a plus
  • Mastery of the French language, the computer tool and SAGA
  • Driving license

Remuneration :

  • According to the collective agreement of the French Red Cross
  • 15% expatriation bonus included
  • Per diem: 32 €
  • Year-end bonus
  • 10% job insecurity bonus

Leave:

  • 5 weeks of CP/year
  • 21 days of RTT/year

Other advantages :

  • 100% coverage of home air tickets – country of assignment on departure and return from mission – vacation 06 months
  • Financial envelope for taking breaks 03 months – 09 months depending on the mission

Insurance:

  • Affiliation to Social Security via the Caisse des Français de l’Etranger – CFE
  • Obligatory French Red Cross mutual insurance company (LAMIE) with 75% coverage by the employer (25 euros per month remaining payable by the employee).
  • Medical assistance and repatriation (IMA Assistance) + provident insurance (death/disability).
