In addition, he/she will provide technical support to the managers of other projects including these components, and more specifically a cross-border project whose objective is to contribute to the balanced and sustainable development of the territories affected by the displacement of populations resulting from the Central African conflict. , in the Central African Republic and Cameroon (I Yéké Oko project). This project includes a psychosocial dimension as well as actions relating to SGBV complementary to the Bêkou health project.

Hierarchical links:

  • The psychosocial delegate works under the responsibility of the Berberati health project manager, who in turn reports to the Berberati sub-delegation manager.
  • The psychosocial delegate manages the psychosocial team made up of national supervisors and volunteers whom he/she will be responsible for training and supporting.

Functional links

Collaborates internally with:

  • The psychosocial coordinator based in Bangui,
  • The SAME project manager in Berberati and the Berberati-based psychosocial supervisors of the I YEKE OKO RCA project,
  • The Psychosocial project manager based in Batouri (Cameroon) for the I YEKE OKO project,
  • The head of the psychosocial center based at the headquarters of the CRF in Paris.

Collaborates externally with:

  • Communal and sub-prefectural committees of the Central African Red Cross,
  • The representatives of the populations benefiting from the action,
  • Other humanitarian partners.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation of psychosocial activities in close collaboration with the Bêkou project manager and psychosocial coordination
  2. Technically support the monitoring and evaluation of psychosocial activities
  3. Support the management of human resources related to psychosocial activities
  4. Ensure the capitalization of activities and psychosocial data
  5. Participate in maintaining internal and external relations with the actors involved in the psychosocial field and on the theme of gender in the area of ​​​​assignment, in CAR

Candidate’s experience / training The profile of the candidateTraining:

  • Education: Diploma in psychology, or social worker with a compulsory psychological component
  • Project management training is a plus

Job requirements:

  • Experience of at least 2/3 years in the psychosocial field internationally
  • Experiences in the fields of protection, gender and inclusion
  • Very good writing skills
  • Team management skills
  • Very good ability to listen, understand and consult;
  • Analytical and synthetic skills
  • Strong motivation to work in a multicultural and multisectoral team
  • Strong motivation to work in very close partnership with a national partner
  • Mastery of data collection and analysis tools
  • Mastery of the Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Appreciated experiences:

  • Proven experience in community outreach
  • Good knowledge of EU rules and procedures
  • Knowledge of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
  • Knowledge of Central Africa would be a plus

LANGUAGES :

  • Excellent command of French both orally and in writing.
  • Understanding of Sango is an asset.

Wage conditions

Remuneration:

  • According to the collective agreement of the French Red Cross
  • 15% expatriation bonus included
  • Per diem: 32 €
  • Year-end bonus
  • 10% job insecurity bonus

Leave:

  • 5 weeks of CP/year
  • 21 days of RTT/year

Other advantages :

  • 100% coverage of home air tickets – country of assignment on departure and return from mission – vacation 06 months
  • Financial envelope for taking breaks 03 months – 09 months depending on the mission

Insurance:

  • Affiliation to Social Security via the Caisse des Français de l’Etranger – CFE
  • Compulsory mutual insurance company of the French Red Cross (LAMIE) with 75% coverage by the employer (25 euros per month remaining payable by the employee).
  • Medical assistance and repatriation (IMA Assistance) + provident insurance (death/disability).
