Cabinet LUCREatif, specializing in the recruitment and provision of personnel, is recruiting on behalf of a major player in the insurance sector in Togo:

ONE (1) GENERAL MANAGER (M/F)

NB: Position based in Lomé.

ASSIGNMENT

Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the quality of operation, development and profitability of the Insurance Company, in compliance with defined policies and strategic orientations.

DUTIES

– Design and propose the Company’s management strategy to the Board of Directors for adoption;

– execute the Company’s development strategy defined by the Board of Directors;

– develop the strategy and operational planning with a view to achieving the objectives and put in place the necessary technical means while respecting the allocated budgets;

– implement corrective and preventive actions necessary to improve the achievement of the set objectives;

– Supervise the preparation of the budget, quarterly statements, financial statements and statistics of the Company;

– define and guarantee commercial achievements and more generally, in terms of turnover, the solvency margins and the profitability of the Company;

– supervise all activities of the Company;

– evaluate the issues that have an impact on the Company;

– ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the procedures and methods used by the Company;

– ensure compliance with laws and regulations as provided for by the CIMA code and the provisions of OHADA;

– represent the Company before national administrative authorities and partners and formally and legally commit the Company to third parties; And

– any other task inherent to his duties.

PROFILE

– Hold at least a DESS in Insurance or any other equivalent diploma;

– have at least five (05) years of experience in a management position or in senior management functions in an insurance company, National Insurance Directorate or financial establishments;

– be a national of a member state of CIMA (Inter-African Conference of Insurance Markets)

SPECIFIC SKILLS

– have good analytical, planning, organizational, management and control skills;

– Possess essential managerial skills;

– have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and other business software).
