General missions of the Driver at Educo
Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, based in Kolda with frequent field trips to accompany Office staff and receive visitors at Ziguinchor and/or Kolda airport.

Workstation functions
Based in Kolda and placed under the direct responsibility of the Program Coordinator, the driver will have to carry out the following tasks:

The driver will ensure the transport of people and goods necessary for the proper execution of the activities of the Kolda office.

He will carry out all the races for the kolda office (deposits of purchase order and payment check, purchases, deliveries etc…)
At the request of the accounting secretary, goes to the bank for various transactions, supply check withdrawal, transfer order deposits, check deposits or withdrawals, etc.)
Collects and deposits mail in the various administrative structures;
The driver will be held responsible for the good working order of the vehicle. As such, he has the obligation to make every effort necessary to maintain the vehicle in good condition and to preserve it as a means of work for the Bureau. As such: he will have the obligation to:
Carry out all emergency checks daily to ensure the good condition of the vehicle;
Ensure the maintenance of the vehicle (oil change and other periodic maintenance) and ensure that the tank is never below half (immediate refueling with the fuel card);
Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle. Ensure that the people and goods transported do not damage the vehicle;
The authorization to carry out the repair on site or to bring the vehicle back to Dakar for repair will be given by the Program Coordinator;
Maintain an up-to-date logbook by filling in all the information contained therein daily. Present it periodically to the Program Coordinator for control;
The driver must inform the Program Coordinator in all cases where there is an accident, damage or other significant facts concerning the vehicle;
In the event of an accident, take the necessary steps to obtain insurance;
Competence profile
At least an elementary or secondary diploma;
Driving license ;
Confirmed experience of at least 05 years as a driver;
Experience in development organizations (asset);
Good oral and written communication in French;
Experience in development organizations (asset);
Good knowledge of the context of the Kolda region,
Proven writing ability.

Workstation conditions

Fixed-term employment contract, 40 hours/week for the total duration of the contract. Renewable?
