The seven national teams involved are divided into two pools for a competition which begins on Tuesday July 9 and ends on July 14. Pool A is made up of Senegal, Morocco and Egypt. Cameroon, Botswana, Algeria and Kenya will play in pool B. For the first day, Cameroon will face Botswana in the opening match, followed by Kenya which will face Algeria then Egypt will measure in Senegal. Defending champion Cameroon will try to defend their trophy against other big names in African volleyball including Kenya, nine times winner
