Creol reveals the truth on his support

In her TikTok video, the singer explained the motivations behind her support for Ali Bongo. She highlighted the difficulty artists have in earning a living since the arrival of COVID-19, due to the suspension of concerts and musical events. The elections seemed like an opportunity for them to make money, and that’s why she made this choice.

She then made a distinction important in explaining that as an artist, she was willing to accept monetary offers and express herself accordingly. However, she emphasized that when she took on the role of citizen, she voted based on her civic duty.

Apologies to disappointed fans

“Since the advent of COVID-19, we artists have not worked. So we were waiting for the elections, hoping that we could make some money. I’m telling you the truth, I don’t need to come and lie. We were waiting for the election period to make money. Because the concerts have been suspended.

Far be it from me to come and beat around the bush. They call me to give me the money, I answer. If I’m asked to say A, B, C, D, I say it and take my money. Quite simply because I am an artist. But when I drop my cap to wear that of a citizen, I express my duty in the ballot box. That’s all.
