Location: Dakar

Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years or equivalent in the following fields: i) Quantitative Methods, Social Sciences, International Development, Research, and ii), Training, Training Engineering and Community Development.
• Have at least 4 years of experience in the development and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation Plans for development projects;
• Have experience in the execution or management of quantitative and qualitative study and evaluation contracts;
• Have proven experience in Database and Online Database management;
• Have 4 years’ experience in training, facilitating meetings and developing action plans for groups of actors;
• Demonstrate practical experience in organizing and facilitating multi-actor forums for collaboration, coordination, learning, capitalization and development of action plans;
• Good command of French and English is required.

Responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
• Coordinate data collection, verification, processing and quality assessment during implementation;
• Participate in the mapping of actors and the establishment of the reference situation of indicators;
• Supervise data entry by staff and partners into the DevResults system (the online database);
• Oversee annual surveys, periodic assessments, updating Scorecards established for local institutions and Internal Data Quality Assessments; And
• Prepare and make available quarterly program execution data for the preparation of program technical reports.
• Contribute to the development of the strategy, tools and mechanisms of the program’s collaboration, learning and adaptation (CLA) plan;
• Develop TORs and supervise consultants and service providers responsible for facilitating collaboration and learning forums;
• Prepare and organize M&E data necessary for periodic data review sessions, annual Pause and Reflection workshops; And
• Organize the filing, management and distribution of project documentation for reviews of program performance and lessons learned.
